How will I know if my application has been received?
After your application and application fee have been received by the Rackham Graduate School you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail. This e-mail will confirm receipt of your application and provide you with your U-M ID number. It will also inform you of how to check your status online.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you consult your program's web page for instructions on admissions requirements, the application process, contact information, and obtaining the status of your application. If the instructions are not followed, the application review process will be delayed. The graduate program, not Rackham, notifies applicants who are refused admission. When contacting the graduate program you should have your U-M ID number available. You can locate program contact information at the following website at: http://www.rackham.umich.edu/dig/
TO VERIFY YOUR APPLICATION DATA AND STATUS ONLINE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS!
You will need to use a login ID and password, and confirm some personal data before viewing your application data.
For applicants who are current students or employees: Log into Wolverine Access using your existing UMICH uniqname and click New and Prospective Student Business.
For applicants new to the University: This is a 2-step process.

Log into Wolverine Access (U-M administrative services)
After you create your U-M Friend Account, use the following URL to view your application data: http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu
and click New and Prospective Student Business. You will need your U-M ID number (see paragraph one) in order to access Wolverine Access.
Note: The Web App Status system enables you to verify your data, check the status of your application, update your e-mail address, home address, and telephone number.
